Peer consultation can be helpful when:

  • A court-involved individual or family therapy becomes particularly confusing or challenging.
  • A court-ordered evaluation poses unique procedural, interpretative, and/or practical difficulties.
  • Reference to the current literature is likely to assist formulating, interpreting, or making recommendations.
  • Burn-out, compassion fatigue, and/or secondary trauma threaten
  • another perspective might help you consider new hypotheses, approaches, techniques, and interventions.
